This plate removes contaminants like salts and detergents from hydrophilic analytes, such as carbohydrates, before mass spectrometry analysis. It enables elution volumes as low as 25 μL, eliminating time-consuming evaporation steps. Eluted carbohydrates can be analyzed directly by MALDI MS without derivatization. It can be used for carbohydrate extraction or as part of a glycan analysis kit to clean glycans released from glycoproteins.
